I wasn’t happy listening to MS Dhoni’s comments in his interview with Sanjay Manjerekar post the CSK Vs RCB match yesterday. Dhoni sort of said that even his team would struggle if the Chennai pitch remained like it was in the first game of IPL12. I believe, He should have given credit to his bowlers instead. They bowled out RCB for 70 and they deserved credit from their captain. Instead, his focus was on defending the deplorable performance of RCB and its captain Virat Kohil. What is Dhoni’s stratergy? “Kohli, I will scratch your back (when you play IPL). You scratch mine (when I play poorly for India).” Possibly. The Bible calls us for frank talk: Do not lie to each other (Col. 3:9). You must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor for we are all members of one body (Eph. 4:25). Don’t scratch the other person’s back to get ahead in life. – Duke Jeyaraj #IPL12 #DukeDevotions.
